Gee is a very creative and innovative art director. Not only is she able to engage and contribute innovative ideas in the early stages of a project, but she also demonstrates excellent design skills during the execution phase. Georgina elevates the teams and projects she is involved with. As an Art Director, she brings a clarity of design that is only matched by her ability to craft a compelling narrative. I've had the privilege of working with her on a number of internal and client-facing projects. She excels both in self-starting roles (taking projects from start to finish with minimal guidance, delivering on-time and on-brief), whilst also being a force-multiplier in team settings. I'm particularly impressed by her ability to convert technical and dense subject matter (we worked together on Financial Services clients) into persuasive people-centric executions. I throughly enjoyed collaborating with Gee on campaigns during her time at Amazon. Her talent, diligence and empathy make her a perfect team member for elevating both creative thinking and design. As a creative she has strong judgement and firmly keeps the end customer at the heart of her thinking. She consistently comes up with innovative ideas and narratives that surprise and delight, never failing to follow through with polished and detailed decks with strong rationale to boot. Gee is quite frankly an incredible designer. She can consume briefs (even if vague) and deliver designs with efficiency and flare. She has taken our visual identity to the next level. Gee works seamlessly with all types of stakeholders - polite and firm, creative and effective - and has left the business in a different place to how it was when she joined. Gee has created new processes and formats, improving interactions between Design, Sales and Growth for optimal delivery and impact. Gee is one of the most talented and hard working people I've had the pleasure of working with. Over the last 12 months, Gee has been so much more than a typical graphic designer and has completely transformed the Shephard brand.
